Q: Is it normal for my Zune player 80GB to make a spinning or buzzing or humming sound when retrieving information or retrieving songs?

A: Some might say yes but to me that is not normal. I have a Zune 30. It also has a hard drive. I never hear mine make a sound when retreiving music or videos. I checked it again before I typed this in case the sound was slight. If the sound is very slight

The $250 80GB hard-drive model I tested would make a capable alternative to an 80GB iPod Classic if wireless syncing or built-in radio interest you.
