Q: I ask because my ORIGINAL xbox isn't reading games very well anymore and I would like to fix it. Would it be possible to fix it without replacing the drive?

A: You can get it refurbished by Microsoft for $75, or you can get a new one, if you're lucky enough to find a Gamestop store that will sell them for $50 in stock.
It was also very criticized when it first came out however the original Microsoft XBOX game system is still quite a monster. The system is still alive and kicking as a full blown media center for some, so we have unearthed some quality original XBOX accessories for it still!
For those that are still using it with a custom dashboard, playing classic games and watching your favorite DVD movies you can rejoice if you lost your original XBOX DVD remote because for a limited time we have found a bunch of them brand new in the original packaging for less than the price of a bag of gummy bears! (And I love gummy bears!)
