Q: I've seen on Wii's website that the new remote is supported, I'd like to know whether the games support the six axis movement.

A: not yet. games can be updated so only time will tell, btw six axis refers to the ps3's six axis controller. the wii remote is more than just six axis. :P cheer man.

Some of new mini-games include stuff like Wind Runner (which sees you using your Wii Remote Plus to open the umbrella being held by your Mii to direct yourself along the course on a pair of roller skates), Treasure Twirl (using the Wii Remote Plus as a 'winch' to collect treasure from deep-sea environments), Cone Zone (where you tilt the Wii Remote Plus to the correct position in order to balance ice cream within a giant waffle cone) and Skip Skimmer (where you angle the Wii Remote Plus to skip stones through a series of rings). These are only four of the twelve mini-games, Nintendo are promising something for everyone to enjoy.

SpongeBob fans get a wacky new drawing game

At the time of release of “uDraw Studio,” THQ also developed two other games to play using the uDraw GameTablet: the well-done version of the family favorite board game “uDraw Pictionary”($29.99); and “uDraw Dood’s Big Adventure” ($29.99), an action game where you design your own character.

The newest game for the uDraw GameTablet is “SpongeBob SquigglePants.” This game requires that families already own the uDraw GameTablet, since all of the game play is done using that device as your controller.

With the nine-by-seven inch tablet on your lap, you enter the world of Patchy the Pirate, the president of the SpongeBob SquarePants Fan Club. Patchy, a live-action character played by actor Tom Kenny (who also voices the character of SpongeBob), invites you to join the club, but before he will grant you membership, you must prove your worthiness.

To show that you are a true SpongeBob devotee, you must explore Patchy’s art gallery, which serves as the main menu for this game. While there are loads of paintings, six are unique, depicting SpongeBob in art styles in which he’s never before seen. Using artwork from the Nickelodeon vaults, these paintings serve as your entry point into the game’s more than 100 fast-paced minigames. Called “nanogames,” these games take just a few seconds to play, and use the uDraw GameTablet in fun and interesting ways.
