A webcam controlled by a Wii Nunchuck. This is some recent hackery of mine. It's a great way to learn more about the Arduino and Servos :)
Q: I have recently ordered the Nintendo Wii console in UK. I found the price for Wii Play much cheaper in US and want to order it along with an extra Nunchuck. Will these work with my console?
A: The Wii Nunchuck is universal . Only the software is region codes, which is sad because there are so many cool Japanese game.

The wireless controller for the Nintendo Wii has been used in many a hack due to its simple to use Bluetooth interface. The nunchuck portion of the controller however, has always required a physical tether to the wireless controller, or an aftermarket wireless dongle. [Rousselmanu] is looking to change that with his Bluetooth-enabled wireless Wii nunchuck. He is able to retrieve a slew of data from the nunchuck, including information from all of the accelerometers, buttons, as well as the joystick. The data is read into a PIC MCU and relayed via serial to a Bluetooth module he purchased online.
The Bluetooth module looks fairly easy to interface in Linux, and [Rousselmanu] has a video showing off how well the nunchuck can be used to interact with 3D models. He admits that the controller is a bit ugly at the moment as all the components don’t quite fit so well, but future revisions will surely remedy that.
...The game’s simple enough to pick up and play, the main menu allowing you to choose from a single player campaign, multiplayer or a quick play in the rehearsal room. It also offers “Roadie task” which are essentially minigames involving signing autographs or tuning guitars like a real rock star and working the lights on stage and fixing speakers . . . just like a real rock star!

The controls for Musiic Party are simple enough, directional stick on the nunchuck and flail your Wiimote to hit notes in the correct sequence for guitar and bass, flail both your Wiimote and nunchuck for drums.
Every instrument is able to activate a ‘Nova mode’ which doubles your score until you miss a certain amount of notes. While fun at first, you’ll find your wrists starting to hurt at around the 20 minute mark and soon get bored of the repetitiveness of flicking your wrist in time to the music. Let’s not forget the frustration at the unresponsive drum controls.
