Will a "Wii Play 2 Player HD Bundle" system play on a non HD TV?

Q: Hi,
I dont have an HDTV yet but i expect to get one in the coming months and I want to purchase a Wii system now. If I purchase the Wii HD bundle system will it work with my current non HD TV?

A: The Nintendo Wii is not in HD and only supports SD. The highest resolution which a Wii can achieve is 480p with the use of component cables.

The Nintendo Wii comes bundled with the Composite Cables which are used with SD tv's :)

I had played this Wii thing at my sons home.I thought it was just a game for the grand children.My son had me try bowling, which the wife and I loved when we were young.
