Should I get a macbook pro 15 and a macbook air or is the macbook 15 portable enough to travel easily?

Q: I travel sometimes on trains and planes and I'd like to have a computer with me. Netbooks are out of the question. I need a 15 inch screen because the macbook pro will be my primary computer and a 13 inch will be too small for constant use. So should

A: don't get a macbook air unless you really travel alot. compared to the macbook 15 inch it is not as powerful, not to mention no optical drive!

@sxyphatboy Yes, the Asus gaming laptops are better valued than the 15″ MBP. The bad thing is that those gaming laptops are downright chunky and ugly. For the MBP you have to pay the extra price but it’s worth it because you get super good looks, the portability, a decent battery life and a pretty good graphic card (6750M).
