Apple has just announced the release of its latest MacBook Air.  Reviewers have generally been impressed with the new piece of kit. Many have noted how the MacBook air is even slimmer than before but has faster and better specification.

Never one to be too slow in coming forward to praise his own products, Steve Jobs of Apple has described the MacBook air as “the future of notebooks”.

The reviewers at Tech Digest timed how long the MacBook took to be ready for action from the moment it was turned on and found that this was a very speedy 20 seconds only.

Tech Digest were less impressed with the value for money offered by the MacBook air. They pointed out that it that whilst 2GB RAM was adequate for everyday working it still did seem a little miserly when so many other rivals offer 4GB.
