Q: found a macbook air on craigslist for 400 dollars and i wanna sell it on ebay for a nice 300 and up profit.
do you all recommend me do this cuz the macbook air still has factory & its flawless and 4 months old.
I do not own a Macbook Air, but I have tested them. To me, it feels fine in the hands, but I honestly think the other Macbook [Pros] are just as light and portable.
The processor speed on the air (1.6 GHz) is relatively low compared to the other Macbooks. If you are just using the Air for light, everyday work, then 1.6 GHz should be fine. But if you are a big multi-tasker or run large programs, you should look for greater processing power.
The RAM looks fine. 2GB is a nice amount to have. The newer Macbook Pros are fitted with DDR3 RAM, which is generally better than DDR2, but it shouldn’t make too big of a difference.
The hardrive seems a bit small, but that’s the price you pay for the lightweight-feel of the Air. Once again, the amount of space you need depends on how you use the computer – I know people who maxed out their space in a week, while others barely use half. Granted, should you ever want to upgrade, well that kind of defeats the purpose of the “Air”, doesn’t it?
