Macbook 13 black won't charge or recognize battery please help solve issue?

Q: I bought a macbook 13 black knowing that It needed the pram battery in order to be able to charge the battery.. I've already replaced the pram battery , but once the charger is plugged in the battery won't charge or recognize under the batery icon

Try this: Remove the charger and the battery, hold down the power button for 1 minute, then plug in everything and retry to turn it back on. If that doesn't work, try to go into the drivers and update it so your laptop can detect
