Does the new ipod nano (4th Generation) work with the istation 3?

Q: I have the new ipod nano, the 4th generation ipod nano and i was going to buy the istation 3, but first i need to know if it works with the istaion 3. My ipod nano came with the adaptor for 1 of the istations.
