Q: do u think wii play is a good game. i got my wii yeterday and have been playign wii sports non stop, but have only played wii play twice.

A: I think it's fun only when you have nothing else to do. My favorite mini game would be the cow race and the bubble game. But I got it mostly for the controller as well.
Party game sequel Wii Play: Motion will launch across Europe on 24th June.
Nintendo's new set of mini-games makes use of the Wii Motion Plus add-on. Wii Play: Motion comes bundled with a Wii Remote Plus, which has the add-on built in.
The original Wii Play is one of the best-selling games of all time. What the heck? It's true - the original included a Wii Remote for free. This time around Europeans get a red flavoured Wii Remote Plus. North American gamers have the title a week earlier and are gifted a black coloured remote instead.
There are 12 tasks on offer, including "Wind Runner", which dubiously combines roller skates and running around a windy race track holding an umbrella. Angling the Wii Remote Plus controls speed and direction.
Other activities see players winching up deep-sea pirate booty in "Treasure Twirl", balancing scoops of ice cream atop a cone in "Cone Zone", and skimming stones across a lake in "Skip Skimmer".

Nine-year-old Curtis McCarthy donated his old Nintendo Wii to the hospital’s first floor play area after winning a new one in Winter Carnival’s treasure chest contest.
“I decided to give it to the play room because they had two Xboxes and movies and all that,” he said. “But they didn’t have a Wii.”
McCarthy is hospitalized because of epileptic seizures and had not been outside in two weeks before attending Carnival’s opening ceremonies Friday.
His mother, Jacinda Bennett, said carnival festivities are special to the family and he was thrilled to be allowed out for the evening.
McCarthy knew video games and toys are given away at the opening, and had been eyeing the prizes for many years.
“I wish I could win,” McCarthy said was his first thought when he learned he would be going to the carnival event.
