A: My battery actually lasts a long time between charges. But, if you want to charge it while the ps3 is off, you'll need an external device. Or just plug it into your PC - it's a standard USB plug. There are lots of cell phones and digital cameras that
Cameron Pittman, 20, is TheFeed's hero of the day. The Florida resident was arrested for reportedly trying to rob a store with a PlayStation 3 controller. That's him in the photo above.
It all went down earlier this week in St. Petersburg, when Pittman reportedly walked into the Sun Food Store with a controller in his pocket, which he apparently told the clerk was a gun. While the robbery was going on, the cops got a tip that Pittman was planning to steal from the store, so a police officer walked into the middle of the robbery and quickly apprehended the suspect. Pittman dropped the controller and gave up. Reports that Pittman frantically mashed the "Start" button in an effort to pause the arrest are entirely untrue, as I made that fact up.
...We're used to the usual deluge of great sports games from EA Sports, certainly FIFA, Madden and NHL are all staples, with the odd Fight Night release thrown in.
Now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 we have Grand Slam Tennis 2, as a gamer, or a sports fan, you should be pondering if this is a game that should be on your radar every year around this time.
For the most part, yes.
There are some caveats, for instance, it's more of a "must play" on the PS3 because of the Move controller that lets you interact with the game more, there is a lack of current star players especially on the female side, but for the most part, with tennis seemingly poised for a slight upswing in the sporting consciousness, this is a title that's worthy.
For starters, this game lacks all the big names of the current circuit, though it does have most of the players from the golden age of tennis: McEnroe, Borg, Evert, Navratilova, Sampras, though not Agassi.
As for current stars, you can play as the Big Four men, Djokovic, Murray, Nadal and Federer (as well as some others), and for women you have the Williams sisters, Sharapova and Ivanovic.

GameAxis Unwired The Logitech Chillstream controllers work (which is good) but they don't work well (which is bad). As you would've guessed, I'm reviewing both the PS3 and PC controllers at the same time.. .and yes, i'm THAT hardcore. |
