What's the difference between Little Big Planet for the PS3, and Little Big Planet for the PSP?

Q: I really want to get Little Big Planet, but I don't have a PS3. Although I have a PSP and I just want to know if anyone can explain the differences and similarities between the PS3 version and the PSP version. Is the PS3 version worth getting a PS3 for?

LittleBigPlanet 2 picks up after the events of the first game.  Of course you are still in control of the adorable Sackboy and get to perform some physics-based platforming.  This time a crazy inter-dimensional vacuum cleaner called The Negativitron has come to suck up and destroy Craftworld.  This is obviously not a good thing and you are immediately recruited by Larry Da Vinci, the leader of a semi-secret semi-organized group known as “The Alliance”.  So begins your journey to defeat The Negativitron.

Who is this Game for? – If you played and enjoyed the first LBP then this game is for you.  All the things you love from the first game return and then some.  This game is loaded with new features and way more options to create the game of your dreams.  Speaking of creating games/stuff, LBP 2 lets you do this in spades.  If you like building new games, movies, or whatever else your little brain can think up, then LBP 2 has you covered.  The possibilities seem endless and the sheer vastness of games already created is incredible.  Even if the single player campaign doesn’t do anything for you there is so much more to explore and create yourself.

LittleBigPlanet Vita: What you need to know

The PS Vita is not just for adults but also children as well, which is why it’s important for developers to get LittleBigPlanet on Sony’s latest handheld games console. There have been four other versions of the game before it but this is the first to take full advantage of Vita’s various features, which will make it very unique.

We can expect to see graphics on a level with the PS3 but will go a step further, as it will not be a port like some of the other games already available for the Vita. There is currently no release date but we can tell you that it will be in the coming months, maybe they should launch this title in the build-up to the holiday season along with Call of Duty , as this will send Vita sales through the roof?

The portable version of LBP will support up to 4 Players Online & Offline, but where this version will excel is how you will be able to not only utilize the jog controllers but also the multi-touch display as well. Players can also use the rear touchpanel to push objects towards them or for creating platforms as well.
