Where can I find underwater housing for an Olympus Stylus 1010?

Q: I bought that camera like two months ago, and love it! Only problem is, it has options to shoot underwater but I can't find the underwater cover anywhere! The olympus website says it's discontinued. Guess they put out so many cameras whats new is old

Wreck Diving - Olympus Stylus 1010 camera; underwater without housing?

So it’s my understanding that the camera can go underwater *only* with the underwater housing. But my sister (with a similar olympus camera) said that was only for deep sea diving and the camera could go up to ten feet underwater with no housing. I’d rather no for sure before i stick my 200 dollar camera in the water so please help thanks!

Since your sister says it is ok to take it underwater with no housing, why don’t you tell her to prove it and she take HER camera underwater.

We will be waiting to see her question on here about how to make her camera work again after it being in the water.

I’m glad at least YOU had the sense to ask here before doing such a stupid thing.
