Picture-perfect cameras
04.04.11
The models – IXUS 310 HS, IXUS 220 HS and IXUS 115 HS – come packed with the high sensitivity (HS) system and movie digest mode.
With Canon’s ground-breaking HS system, this new range of compact digital cameras allows users to take sharper, better and more stunning photographs, even in challenging low-light conditions.
Canon Marketing Malaysia’s director of Imaging Communication Products division Simon Wong said that together with Canon’s Digic 4 imaging processor, the HS system provides high-sensitivity CMOS sensor that produces razor-sharp images.
"The result is vivid colour rendition at low-noise levels without aid of a flash or tripod to maintain the ambiance and mood of the photo."
Wong added that for the first time in the IXUS series, Canon is introducing the movie digest mode which offers both still images and a four-second movie pre-record before the still capture.
"This enables users to record the full story behind every picture-perfect moment as it unfolds."
