Q: Are Fuji digital cameras good? I want a camera that takes great pics, quick shutter speed for capturing a toddler and takes good night pics. Any model suggestions. Please no canon or nikon.

Out of all the models I tried, the best Fuji digital camera was the Finepix S1000fd, with an optical zoom of 12x and 10 megapixels. The resolution of the camera is good enough for you to print photos at 18 x 24 inches. The LCD screen has 2.7 inches. Some of the its features are red eye removal, panorama shooting mode and picture stabilization. The photos you take can be stored on SD/SDHC and xD memory cards. Now, for my opinion on the camera . Before this model, I owned a Finepix S5100. While it was still a good camera, I needed something new, since it was five years old. The quality of the photos was evident from the start, but it was not a surprise since the old one had 4 megapixels and the new one has 10.
