Could Sony TV Rescue 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live'?
The speculation hasn't gone viral yet, but it's appeared on some message boards, including ones at Soap Central .Fans shouldn't get too excited about this, however. It's not uncommon for rumors to start about soaps finding new homes after they've been axed. And, sadly, it's rare (but not totally unprecedented) for those rumors to turn into fact. 'Passions,' which ran on NBC from July 1999 to September 2007, was picked up by DirecTV after it left the peacock network. The show's second life, however, was relatively short-lived. DirecTV aired the 'Passions' finale in August 2008. CBS canceled 'Search for Tomorrow' in 1982. NBC gave it a new home, but then called the 'Search' off in late 1986. countyguy315
They better buy them. All those years of using their electronics, watching their movies and TV shows, buying their other products. I'm one of a billion people that help keep them in business and buying these two great soaps will be great for business. After all, they do have "DOOL" and "Y&R" in their TV library.
