Q: I want to test a Used Acer computer LCD monitor that I might buy from someone in town 2nd hand. Of course I want to test it before but dont know what I should take (cables) along with my 2 year old HP laptop. Nor do I know HOW to do it . Any tips/ideas???
A: There shld be a Blue VGA port on the side of yr laptop plug the monitor VGA port to it make sure the monitor is powered up
And press Fn + (a button that has two squares) until u can see the laptop image on the monitor
