Q: I need to know how to enter 2 matrices (matrix) into a TI graphing calculator. I have to write an explanation but forget how to do it without a calculator in front of me! please help!
A: OK, while there might be some slight differences between the various TI graphing calculators, basically it goes like this:
Select 2nd MATRIX
Select EDIT
Give the matrix a name. Default is A.
Next
Question I know the full TI-Nspire is not allowed but my teacher mentioned something about the possibility of being able to use it if you only use the the TI-84+ keyboard, which comes free with the calculator.
Does anyone have experience with trying this? If anyone has tried this and been accepted or denied, please let me know. Thanks!
Best Answer You are allowed to use the TI-Nspire on the ACT. I dont see why you wouldnt be able to use the TI-84 Plus SE keyboard emulator, either.What you arent allowed to use on the ACT is the TI-Nspire CAS, a slightly different calculator. The TI-Nspire CAS doesnt have the capability for a keyboard emulator.
Other Answers You can use the TI-Nspire as along as it does not have the CAS part on. If you have the TI-84 plus keyboard, you will be fine....
