Q: Im shopping for a home audio receiver and i keep seeing home audio amplifiers. and i am not excatly sure what a home audio amplifier is. like is it something that you but and connect to a receiver to boost the watts of the receiver? can you even do that?
A: a receiver is an amplifier w/ a built in tuner to p/u stations an amplifier is just for making more sound to whic you may add a tuner, preamp turntable etc
