If I buy an unlocked treo to use with a prepaid plan, can I still use te internet?

Q: I have been researching for a new unlocked treo but heard that if I choose a pre-paid or no contract plan I cant get the internet. I really want a treo but I cant get a new contract. I f I buy an unlocked one off of ebay:
1)witch ones are compatible

A: i ebay all the time, and i have a treo myself and i belong to cingular(which is now at&t)..but yes you can buy an unlocked treo, and all you have to do is refine your search to look only for the ones compatible to cingular and tmobile..unfortunately
