How do I check internet history on the android G2 cellphone?

Q: When the browser pops up it automatically is on google and it seems I have to search to go anywhere. How do I type in a www address and also how do I check previously visited websites, favorites, etc etc??

A: hit the menu button, then tap "bookmarks". once in bookmarks, you have 3 tabs at the top that show bookmarks, most visited, and history.

T-Mobile G2 Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update | HTC Desire Z Android ...

Last month, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM with Sense UI for the HTC Desire Z leaked.

Today, the folks over at XDA forums have managed to get their hands on the leaked Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM for the T-Mobile G2.

The T-Mobile G2 and the HTC Desire Z are exactly the same phones, except that the former runs on stock Android while the latter has Sense UI on top of it.

Users who have flashed this ROM on their handset, report that the performance and stability of this ROM is top-notch. Sadly, the ROM does not feature the screen-off animation, which Android 2.3 Gingerbread brings.

The leaked ROM works perfectly, which suggests that the T-Mobile G2 Gingerbread update is around the corner.

Archos Arnova 9 G2

The Arnova 9 G2 measures 11.8 by 9.7 by 2 inches (HWD) and weighs in at 1.3 pounds. Its 9.7-inch IPS display features a fairly standard 1024-by-768-pixel resolution, but the 4:3 aspect ratio is a departure from the 16:9 used by most tablets and phones. Archos omitted a rear-facing camera, but did include a front-facing camera for use during video chats. The Arnova 9 G2 is powered by a single-core 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, and comes with 8GB of internal storage. A micro SD card slot allows for expansion up to 32GB.  

One shortcoming with this budget offering from Archos is its outdated OS—Android 2.3 "Gingerbread." You can still find other tablets using this dated software, but really, with the tablet-specific Android 3.0 "Honeycomb" out and the newest Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" making its way to more devices, the Arnova 9 G2 might become rapidly obsolete.

However, it does have affordability going for it. Temper any iPad 2  expectations and look more towards products like the Viewsonic Viewpad 10e  ($279) and the Nextbook Elite 10  ($249) for a fair comparison.
